Declaration of consent to the processing of health data

In connection with your use of our app, we may process special categories of your personal data. These special categories of personal data include, in particular, your health data. For DocToRead as a service provider that translates your diagnostic data into an understandable language, this is only possible with your express consent. The use of our app therefore requires the submission of the following declaration of consent.

I consent to DocToRead (DocToRead GmbH, Gewerbepark, Grünewald 9, 58540 Meinerzhagen, Germany) processing my personal data, which may also include special categories of personal data, to the extent specified below:

User and contact data: Surname, first name, e-mail address
Health information: Symptoms, diagnoses, therapies, medication, descriptions and information on health, photos of complaints if applicable (data from medical documents)
Usage data: App version
DocToRead collects and stores your data for the following purposes: provision and improvement of our app, account creation and registration in our app, support requests if necessary, implementation and realisation of our service, translation of your medical documents into understandable language.
The stored data is used exclusively for the purposes mentioned. To process your personal data, we only use the consent obtained in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Your consent is voluntary. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You are not obliged to give us your consent. However, without your consent, you will unfortunately not be able to use the functions of our app, or only to a very limited extent.
